Privacy Policy
Effective 22 October 2026. Applies to every ZoeMusicLabs app and its Audio Unit on iPhone, iPad and Mac, including Selah.
Our apps collect no data
ZoeMusicLabs apps do not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any information about you or how you use them. They have no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting services and no tracking, and they make no network connections of their own.
What stays on your device
- Audio. When you turn on Live in, the app uses the microphone or your audio interface to play your sound through the effect. The audio is processed in memory as you play. It is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
- Your presets and settings. Presets you save, your favourites, MIDI mappings and app settings are kept on your device, shared only between each app and its own Audio Unit. When an app runs in a host app, the host saves its settings inside your project, as it does for every plug-in.
- Preset files you import. The app reads only the file you choose.
Permissions
An app asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it:
- Microphone: asked only when you choose Live in.
- Bluetooth (iPhone and iPad): used only when you pair a Bluetooth MIDI controller in the app's Settings.
- Local network (iPhone and iPad): used only when you turn on Network MIDI in the app's Settings, so another device on your Wi-Fi can send MIDI to the app. While it is on, any device on that network can connect, so turn it off on shared Wi-Fi. MIDI is the only thing the app accepts over it.
You can turn any of these off at any time in your device's Settings.

Apple
Apple handles your purchase and may share anonymous sales figures and, if you opt in to share them with developers, crash reports with us. Apple's own privacy policy covers that.
Children
Our apps are suitable for all ages and collect no data from anyone, including children.
Changes and contact
